Uncle Donald you made a huge impact on my life more then I’ve noticed, but with these recent events I find myself reminiscing on the time I had with you in my life. It has made me realize how much of an impact you had on who I am as a man and father. You showed love and compassion, you could be stern and scary at times as well. I was not your son, but when I was with you aunt Toni, little dee, and Erica I felt secure and welcome. If we wanted to do something even if others thought it was crazy you just did it. Bike ramps and a half pipe in the banks parking lot. I don’t remember ever hearing you say no you shouldn’t or that’s not a good idea. I had an idea to build a shed, no money, no tools nothing and you let me take apart your office buildings for material to build the shed. My first time driving a car, getting to ride the machines at your job., and so much more so much. My love for loud music man you had radios that would shake the block.
I love you and instead of missing you I promise to search through my memory bank and remember good times. This reminds me of a really good song and it is more true to me now then ever before.
