Please accept my condolences. May your loved one rest peacefully. God's Word tells us to rely on Jehovah God for support, because he cares for you, may you too throw all your anxiety on God. (1Peter 5:7) (jw.org).

It is hard to find words that might bring comfort at this time of loss, but I find solace in thinking of Aunt Polly up in Heaven surrounded by her beloved angels.
I have many special memories of Aunt Polly. She loved the holidays, especially Christmas. To be surrounded by her family meant everything to her. I think of all the holidays dinners we celebrated at her house, then the shore house and later at Judy and Glenn's family home. Yes Jenn, I'll drink to that!
Aunt Polly never forgot a birthday or an anniversary. In her later years, when she was no longer able to get out and buy her cards I told her I would take over this responsibility. Yes, now you know why I am sending you all those cards!
My most special time with Aunt Polly was in the later years of her life. Missing Aunt Evelyn, she started calling me more frequently and we began to speak on a weekly basis. It was during this time that I developed a much closer relationship with Aunt Polly. I feel truly blessed to have shared this time with her.
My friend told me that when you love someone they never leave you - they are always in your heart. I hope this thought will bring you comfort at this time of loss. Rest in peace beloved aunt!

Harvey,
I am terribly sorry for your loss. Polly was a great gal. All of us at The Trenton Times enjoyed talking to her when she accompanied you in the sports department.
As you probably know, my wife, Kathy, passed away Feb. 11, 2017. It has not been easy without her here in Maine. Not a day passes that my thoughts include my feelings and sorrow about her absence. So, you will be tested.
I hope you can make it work.

Aunt Pollly was a wonderful aunt who I will always remember having a flare for everything she did. Her generosity had no bounds and her smile was contagious I see her smiling among the angels she loved so much

Aunt Polly was always so generous to me and my brother. She spent every holiday with our family and also attended many vocal and band concerts along with some field hockey games. Each birthday and Christmas was spent opening bag after bag of clothes and bathing suits she had meticulously purchased for us. We were always "trending" before our time. She always insisted on a "fashion show" and would snap picture after picture on her manual advance disposable cameras. I will always remember her cameras and her pictures of us in our new fashions and our family home. She enjoyed life and giving to those in her life. Aunt Polly always had a "project" she was working on-- especially the plastic canvas embroidery items to give as favors at the Trenton Club banquets or as Christmas gifts to coworkers and friends. Aunt Polly will always be remembered for her bull dogs and angels. What an accurate representation of who she was-- strong, independent, and giving. Although a very private person, my husband Rob and I were able to get to know her very well over the past ten years as we joined her and Uncle Harvey for oysters, dinners, and sharing family time with our daughter Emma whom she called "my little cookie" and our new twins , Eliana and Elias. Thank you to everyone who came to visit her and called to see how she was doing. We are thankful for her life and her easy going spirit. Cheers to you, Aunt Polly! "I'll drink to that!"
