MARJORIE ANN HUDIK PAPP 87 of Whiting entered into God's loving care on Friday, November 4, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Marjorie moved to Pittsburgh, PA and then settled in Trenton, NJ where she graduated from Cathedral High School and St. Francis Nursing School. Marjorie and her husband Joe married in 1950 and resided in Hamilton until retiring to their Pocono home in Lakeville, PA. In 2013 she moved to Whiting where she presently resided. She was a member of St. Raphael PTA and the Altar Rosary Society. Being a breast cancer survivor herself, Marjorie volunteered for the American Cancer Society in New Jersey and continued her volunteer work after moving to the Poconos. Marge was instrumental in implementing the Reach to Recovery Support Group for breast cancer survivors in Wayne County, PA. Marjorie enjoyed gardening, Bowling, Swimming, fishing, bingo, baking and cooking for her family. She is most known for her potato salad, blueberry waffles, stuffed cabbage and kiflis. Her biggest joy was spending time with her family. Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mary Hudik. Surviving are her beloved husband of 65 years, Joseph, her children Joseph Papp, III and his wife Leslie. Michael Papp and his wife DeAnn. Marge Grochala and her husband Jeff. Theresa Bartlett and her husband George. Joan Papp. Joyce Christiansen and her husband Darren. 12 grandchildren, Jason Bartlett and his wife Karen, Christin Grochala, Lisa Malley and her husband Jay, John Grochala and his wife Lynn, Rachel Desser and her husband Keith, Mike Papp and his wife Jeanine, Joe Papp, IV and his wife Dana John Papp, Brian Watkinson, Lauren Christiansen, Marcus Christiansen and Jordan Papp. 1 great grandson Enzo Papp and 1 great granddaughter due in February. her brother in law and sister in law Ernest and Mary Papp Many Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and close friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30am Wednesday at St. Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad St. Hamilton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery Relatives and friends may call Tuesday 6:00 - 9:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678 stjude.org or to the American Cancer Society, 2600 US Hwy 1, North Brunswick NJ 08902 m.cancer.org
