My sister's and I were lucky enough to grow up next store to Jean & John. We spent many hours around her dining room table enjoying vanilla wafers & talking. Jean loved to talk! If she couldn't speak to you in person, she wrote letters & mailed greeting cards for every occasion. Sometimes, Hallmark didn't get it quite right, so Jean added extra phrases, stickers & underlined meaningful phrases! In those letters we shared news & exchanged photo's, many friends and family must have done the same. With every passing year, the photographs she displayed in her dining room grew, until eventually the pictures filled her hallway all the way to her front door. I will miss her sense of humor, gift of gab & love for all God's creatures, especially cats. I am posting a picture of her favorite cat from our last visit. I love you Jeannie.
