Obituary of Anthony J. Silvestro

Anthony J. Silvestro 68 of Hamilton passed away June 17, 2016. Anthony was a retired Heating and Cooling Technician (HVAC) Tony was one of the original members of the Cop Shoo Bops for over 25 years, also in the group Just Us of New York Stormy Weather, Nostalgia and presently The Emeralds of Philadelphia. He was a Doo wop Music historian and a record collector par exellence. Tony is predeceased by his son Anthony R. Silvestro Brother in law and sister in law Martin and Gail Lyons and sister Mary O'Neill Surviving are his wife Carole Silvestro 4 daughters, Christin Walker Stephanie & Michael Toleno Heather & Michael Terman all of Hamilton, NJ Trista & Robert Jones of Depford, NJ his grandchildren are Melanie, Matthew, Isabella, Ryan, Gianna, Julian, Jolea, Gabriel and Selene. Many nieces and nephews and especially Wendy Johnston and her son Dillon, and Joseph and Donna Scarlata. 2 brothers in law and a sister in law, Steve and Joan Immordino and Leo O'Neill and many friends. Funeral Services will be 11:00am Thursday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton Visitation will be 10:00am until services Thursday and also Wednesday 5:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Tony's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 donors@stjude.org
