Q: How did you meet Benjamin?
A: I met Roger as a co-worker at the USPS almost 40 years ago. During my last 5 years, we worked in a small unit with just the two of us in a secured section. I got to know that infectious smile and his hardy laugh. The look he had when he noticed something was wrong with the paperwork and the animated expressions to get a point across. Nothing really bothered him, no matter how serious of a problem we were facing. We had many friendly debates about frivolous subjects, even to the extreme of having a supervisor come in to referee. However, we never had an argument. His only fault was being a Dallas Cowboy fan. It was an honor to work alongside of him for over 5 years in a small, confined area. I enjoyed the humor, a bit dry akin to Bob Newhart, it kept the work environment great. I will always remember the time with fond memories. RIP my friend.
