Joseph Thomas Muehleisen, 68, of Trenton, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Capital Health Medical Center- Hopewell in Pennington. His sister Mary was by his side throughout his recent illness.
Joe is predeceased by his parents Maurice J. and Margaret J. Muehleisen; two brothers, the late Maurice T. "Maury" Muehleisen and Thomas R. Muehleisen; his niece Maurie Ann; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his sisters Peggy, Mary, and Ann; brothers Michael and Robert; his niece Beth Ann, for whom he was proud to be chosen as Godfather when he was only 16 years old; nieces and nephews Billy, Patty, Lee, Jessica, Marsha, T.J., and Ashley; brothers-in-law Ray and Gary; as well as his Aunt Anne and many cousins.
Joe retired in 2022 from his position as a credit card processor for Bank of America in Pennington, NJ. In the past, he was employed as head chef at Manor's Deli in Lawrenceville; manager of Hopewell Valley Car Wash in Pennington; Global Spectrum LP in Trenton; Applied Data Research in Princeton; and was a NJ Certified Scale Man for Trap Rock Industries in Kingston and Freehold.
Throughout the years, Joe sheltered countless people from harm. He had the biggest and kindest heart and shared so much with others that he had nothing left to share. If he had something and thought someone had a greater need, he would give it to them. He was generous beyond words.

Funeral services were private by Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 S. Broad Street, Hamilton Twp., NJ.
