Obituary of Mary K. Henger

Mary K. Henger 86 of Hamilton passed away peacefully November 6, 2024. Mary was born in Hamilton and has been a lifelong resident. A graduate of Cathedral High School. A parishioner of St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish. Formerly employed at the State of New Jersey. A member of the NJ Beach Buggy Assn. She enjoyed cooking, reading, crabbing and fishing. She was an avid baseball fan. She was so devoted to her family. The family would like to express their gratitude to Serenity Hospice, Nurse Carrie and home health aid Shakia. Daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Galayda. Wife of the late George C. Henger Jr. Surviving are 2 daughters and sons in law, Deborah and Richard Ongaro of Columbus. Mary Jo and Richard Kamin of LaPlata, MD Grandchildren, Christopher Ongaro and wife Amy, David Ongaro and wife Marisa, Richard Ongaro Jr., Kristen Wiggins and husband Chad, Katherine Grant and husband Taylor and Matthew Kamin. Great grandchildren, Rocco, Andrew and Angelo Ongaro. Eloise, Oliver and Clara Wiggins. James and Maggie Grant. Her brother and sister in law, Joseph and Mary Galayda. Several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30am Monday November 11, 2024. At St. Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad St. Hamilton.
