Obituary of John V. Schmidt

John V. Schmidt 85 of Hamilton passed away June 15, 2016. Mr. Schmidt was born in Yugoslavia and has been an area resident most of his life. A life member of the German American Society and he formerly owned D&J Welding Company. He enjoyed fishing and his grandsons baseball games. Son of the late Nicholas & Anna Schmidt Brother of the late Joseph Schmidt Husband of the late Marie Schwarz Schmidt Father of the late Linda I. Schmidt Surviving are his son John F. Schmidt and fiance Maria Tammaro of Mercerville Grandson Derek J. Schmidt of Mercerville 2 step grandchildren Louis and Morgan Owens 1 sister in law and 2 brothers in law, Helen & Michael Lewin and Fred Schwarz many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30am Tuesday at Holy Angels Church 1733 South Broad St. Hamilton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery Relatives and friends may call Monday 6:00 - 8:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society 2600 US Hwy 1, North Brunswick NJ 08902
