Rose M. Pennacchi 87 of Hamilton passed away peacefully June 24th surrounded by her loving family. Rose was a parishioner of St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish, She enjoyed cooking and baking and traveling with her family. She was a traditional mother who raised her 3 children into adulthood and her grandchildren. She enjoyed tending to he beautiful flower garden. In her 70's she worked for her niece in the Bakery at Risoldi's Thriftway. Rose lived a wonderful life and was loved dearly by friends and family and will be deeply missed. She was a kind and caring person with a zeal for life like no other. Her caring and kindness was infectious, and Rose always arrived with a smile and was happiest when cooking Sunday gravy surrounded by her family. She especially loved visiting with her grandchildren and would love to hear stories of their new life in Hoboken, NJ. She loved her close-knit group of friends at the Hamilton Senior Center where they socialized, played bingo, cornhole and other games while reminiscing of the days on Mott Street in Chambersburg. Her faith in God was important to her and loved attending Mass on Sundays at St. Raphel's Church with her son John by her side. We find solace knowing she is with her son Joseph and husband John. We will miss you dearly Rosie! She is predeceased by her parents Pietro and Jennie (Fasanella) Giangrasso. Her husband John A. Pennacchi. Her son Joseph Pennacchi. Her brothers Joseph, Daniel and Albert Giangrasso. Surviving are her son John Pennacchi Jr. Daughter and son in law Linda and Robert Tartaglia. Grandchildren Luke V. Tartaglia and Gianna R.
