Stephen Micknicz 101 of Trenton passed away June 10, 2016 Mr. Micknicz was born in Taylor, PA he then lived in Carteret, NJ and a Trenton resident since 1943 A Veteran of WWII he served in the Merchant Marines A Gold Seal Engineer, he is retired from John A. Roebling and Sons and also from the State of NJ, Dept of Labor and Industry. A member of the Bordentown ELKS He always kept busy and could fix anything for his family and neighbors. He was one of ten children of the late Stephen & Mary Markovitch Micknicz Husband of the late Lillian Trusiak Micknicz Surviving are his 2 daughters and a son in law, Mary Maxine Peck of Trenton Mary Madelene DeLay and husband Mark of Mount Nebo, WV. 3 granddaughters, Jamie Peck of Trenton Christine Barnett and Jennifer DeLay both of Sommerville, WV 2 brothers, Michael and Joseph Micknicz 2 sisters, Pauline Barry and Helen Bartko many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 9:00 - 11:00am at the funeral home
