In this time of sorrow, we remember Joan with fondness and gratitude for her generous nature, kindness, and thoughtful gestures. As one of my dearest friends and neighbors, her delightful presence brought us joy. Cherishing the memorable times we shared together, our children held a special place in their hearts for her as she did for them. She was like a grandmother to them; treating us all as familial extensions of herself - an endearment forever etched in our memories. Her absence will be deeply felt.
