While I had three other uncles, my Uncle Joe was truly the only uncle that I spent an extensive amount of time with. I certainly have many cherished memories of him. I used to anticipate with great excitement when my family would travel to Pennsylvania and New Jersey to visit with him, my aunt, and my cousin. Uncle Joe always took the time to talk and play catch with me as a youngster. As I grew older, he had a sincere interest in my educational, career, and life paths. I appreciate the love he shared with me. "The secret to everlasting life is the memory of others."
