Elizabeth (Stein) Dinger, 105 of Yardville passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023. She has been an area resident most of her life. An avid gardener, she enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her sisters and traveling with her good friend Mary Feldhege. Elizabeth, daughter of the late Josef and Maria Stein was born December 20, 1917, in Bethlehem, PA. She was predeceased by her brother Adam Stein of Germany, sisters Katherine Galayda and Magdalena Eckert. She was a life member of the German American Society in Yardville. She was employed at Horsman Doll Factory for several years, before meeting and marrying her late husband, Josef August Dinger who with his late brother Hans Dinger founded the Dinger Brother Iron Works in Trenton. Surviving her are her son Herbert Dinger of Englewood, FL., her grandson Joseph Dinger with whom she resided, five additional grandchildren, several great grandchildren. Also, many nephews and nieces including Mary Henger of Hamilton and Linda Penrod of Plantation, FL. On Wednesday, November 29, 2023: Family and friends may call 8:30am - 10:00am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30am at St. Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad St. Hamilton. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the German American Society, 215 Uncle Pete's Road. Trenton NJ 08691
