Laura was a terrific instructor, always making exercising FUN! She had a fantastic sense of humor that I always enjoyed, and her taste in music was impeccable! I worked with Laura at the Department of Human Services for many years. She was always happy, energetic and full of life! I also took many of her fitness classes at RWJ. Never has exercising been so much fun. Her time on this earth was too short, but well lived. My condolences to the family.

Laura and I were childhood friends and neighbors. We went to school together from kindergarten through 12. Her mom was like a second mother to me. Although I haven’t seen her in years, I still think of her and her family. Janet and Dan and the rest of her family, I grieve for your loss. May she rest in peace and be reunited with her Mom and and Dad in heaven. May she forever watch over all of you.

I am devastated and have not been able to put into words how I am feeling until now. Laura was not only my fitness instructor at RWJ but also counselor, guidance teacher, friend. I will always remember the special outings she coordinated (Sex and The City movie party, trip to NYC, etc.) and our dance birthday parties. I was for once able to give her advice on her preemie grandson since I had went through the same situation with my granddaughter. How do you measure a person's worth? I'm not sure but I know Laura was a bright light in my life that will never be diminished. Laura will be missed terribly but never forgotten. Condolences to her husband, daughters, grandchildren and family.

Laura was an amazing person and friend. I worked with her at DFD but also took her classes regularly at RWJ. During Covid when the gym was closed, she held classes at at various locations. She loved what she did and I loved how she made me feel. She was one of a kind. My heart goes out to her family and anyone who knew her.

I am so very sorry that Laura is gone. She truly was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was a loving sister, mother, wife and cousin. I will miss her warm smile, and her sense of humor. I remember she and I had fun when, at my sister Lynn’s Thanksgiving Dinner at City Island, a kitten was going in and out of her skirt. Everyone loved Laura. Bless her soul, as she reunites with her parents and grandparents and all her loved ones in heaven.

Once in a while someone unexpectedly comes into your life and leaves a permanent mark in your heart. That gift was Laura! I’m so sorry Frank for you and the rest of Laura’s loved one’s. She had that unique spirit that took a roomful of strangers and turned them into friends. Bob and I will feel her loss for the rest of our lives. If there is a heaven then most definitely there was a Fat Burning Friday dance party yesterday! So “boobs out and suck it in let’s dance”!

It is with the greatest sadness that we mourn the lose of this beautiful soul. Laura was the strongest woman I know and an amazing friend. She could light up a room and motivate a person to be better then they thought they could be. Her love of life was an inspiration to all of us. Laura was an amazing person. I enjoyed taking her classes at RWJ Gym. We went to the Ivy Tavern to dance the night away. So sad to hear the news of her passing. She will be deeply missed. My condolences to the whole family.
