Growing up in the Philippines, Mommy told us about one of her dearest friends, Tita Lulu, a social worker like her, who lived in New York. When I finally met her, years later, in Ossining, she radiated so much love and energy, and I knew why Mommy was so happy each time she and Tita Nena visited us. Tita Lulu, you are a true inspiration, in your faith, your dedication as a social worker, love for family and friends, community spirit, and just being active through the years. I am sharing the photo of the time we visited you and Tita Nena, together with Rod and Bebeth. We love you Tita Lulu, and will miss you so. Please hug Mommy for us up there.
