Obituary of Mary Wiener

Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mary McGoldrick Wiener passed away surrounded by her family on May 1, 2023, in Hamilton, New Jersey. Mary was born in Airdrie, Scotland in 1931 before immigrating to Princeton, New Jersey in 1957. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas McGoldrick and Elizabeth McLaughlin McGoldrick, as well as her sister Margaret, and brothers Tom, James and Dan. Widow of the late Jakob Wiener, she is survived by their daughter Andrea Wiener and her fiancé Derek Chapman of Robbinsville, step-children Brigitte (Dave) Johnson of Oklahoma and Erich Wiener of Austria, as well as her sister-in-law Hilda (Mike) Bass of Lebanon, PA, and many nieces and nephews. Mary's pride and joy was her family, and she leaves behind her three beloved grandchildren, Eric, Eddie and Mackenzie, who brought her immense happiness. Anyone that ever knew Mary, knew she loved nothing more than to sing the praises of her daughter and grandchildren's accomplishments as she expressed daily how much her family meant to her and how much she loved them. Her grandchildren were blessed with the most loving "Nana" and each were special to her for their unique talents and personalities. Mary's favorite pastime beside being Nana, was reading a good book while enjoying her coffee, watching her "stories" – Victor Newman always!, playing detective with Dateline and listening to her wide array of music from Tom Jones to Adele, Broadway to bagpipes, and a special love for Queen and Radio Gaga. A perfect day for Nana was a warm blanket, figure skating on the TV, an Italian People's hoagie and checking in on how the kids were and what her daughter was up to that day. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 10:30am at St. Raphael's Church 3500 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling hours will be held from 8:30am to 10:00am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery 400 Woolsey Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. Mary was a strong advocate for St. Jude and she would be honored to have any contributions be made in her name to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, in lieu of flowers.
