John J. Mitchell III, 82 of Hamilton passed away April 16, 2023.
Mr. Mitchell was born in Trenton and has been a lifelong area resident.
He received a BA in accounting at Trenton State College. He is a retired Bank Auditor and also retired from East Windsor Regional School District, and the West Windsor School for Special Services.
He was an avid baseball and softball player well into his 60"s. he also enjoyed football.
Husband of the late, Nancy Mitchell, his late wife of 63 years, the love of his life whom he met in Boston Mass.
Son of the late, John J. & Grace T. Riley Mitchell Jr.
Brother of the late, Mary Ellen Kapolka.
Surviving are Son and daughter in law, Ronald J. & Geri Mitchell.
Daughter and son in law, Laura Jean & Gary Mease.
Grandson, Mark Francis Coutin.
Beloved pets, chihuahua Jeff and cats Luna and Mia.
Relatives and friends may call Friday 10:00-11:00am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton.
Catholic prayer services will follow at the Colonial Memorial Park.
