Obituary of Adam Muller

Adam Muller, 93, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2022. Born in Szalka, Hungary, Adam was deported to Germany in 1946, and lived there until 1950, before immigrating to the United States. Adam spent the last 25 years living in Florida before returning to Hamilton to live with his daughter. He was the owner of Salamander's German Imported Shoes Store, with locations in Trenton and Philadelphia, he was a member of the German American Club, and was a coach of the German American Kickers. He was also an avid fan of FC Bayern Munich. Son of the late Adam and Maria (Martus) Muller, husband of the late Theresa (Ofner) Muller, father of the late Herbert Muller, and brother of the late Eva Muller, he is survived by his daughters Maria Muller of Hamilton, and Erica Muller of Lawrenceville, grandchildren Joseph, Dominic, Patrick, Gina, and Stephanie, his partner of 35 years Barbara Kately, his cousin Lisl Ofner, cousin Joseph Martus who traveled with Adam from Germany, and many other family members and friends in Hungary, Germany, and the United States. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 11:00am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling hours will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery 400 Woolsey St. Hamilton, NJ 08610.
