Ruth Link, 91, of Clifton Heights, Pa., and formerly of Florence and Hamilton NJ passed away at home on May 3rd after a long illness. Ruth graduated from Hamilton West HS and started work at General Motors in Ewing Township during World War II. Ruth earned her degree from Thomas Edison College and began work at Mercer County Board of Social Services. She was employed as a Case Manager there until 1986. After retiring from the county Ruth worked part time as a school bus driver for Jody's Inc. Musically Ruth played the recorder and performed at several Senior Centers in the Central Jersey area. Ruth also loved to sing and would always lead the family in singing at holidays and special occasions. She was an outstanding yodeler. She also enjoyed painting and many of her paintings are hanging in the homes of her children. Ruth was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who loved playing cards and board games with family and friends. Ruth was the daughter of the late Henry William and Martha Eunice Jetter. She is predeceased by her husband Timothy Link, her brothers, Henry, Mervin, Benjamin and George and sister Myrtle Antheil. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Diane Stowe of Clifton heights, Pennsylvania and Joanne and her husband Dennis Lepold of Leesburg, Florida; her stepchildren: Elva Thomas of NJ, Shirley Link of NJ, Tim Link of NJ, Loretta Link of North Carolina, Louise Link-Miller of PA, Dorothy Golinski New Hampshire. and many step-grand and great grand children;her grandsons Enrique Gasparini, Dennis J.Lepold and his wife Danielle and granddaughter Bonnie J. and her husband Dr. James Gangemi.of Virginia. Ruth has three great grand children, Quintin, Alexa and Sophie. Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday May 16, 2016 at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton The clergy of Christ Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will be in BGWCD Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown Relatives and friends may call Monday 9:00 - 10:00am at the funeral home In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities 1321 Sunshine Ave. Leesburg, FL to assist families of Lake and Sumter counties. www.cflcc.org
