Dorothy Henderson Obituary

Dorothy Henderson, 78, of Hamilton, passed away on November 18, 2022. Born in Trenton, she has been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Steinert High School, Class of 1962. In her early years she enjoyed playing soccer and bowling. An avid gardener, she most recently enjoyed playing cards with her friends.


Daughter of the late Frank and Hattie (Boettcher) Rebh, Wife of the late Lowell E. Henderson, mother of the late Thomas LeClaire, and sister of the late David Rebh, she is survived by her sons Larry LeClaire and William LeClaire, both of Hamilton, and Gregory LeClaire of Philadelphia, PA, her grandchildren Nicole, Lauren, and Christopher LeClaire, her sisters Eleanor Shea of Deland, FL, and Fran Wilgus and her husband Phil of Roebling, NJ, nieces and nephews Dana Summers, Elysa Neely, Michael Neely, and Jeffrey Neely.


Funeral services and interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton will be held privately for the family. Arrangements are under the care of Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. Condolences for the family can be left at www.knottscolonialfuneralhome.com.
