George R. Warner, Sr., 83, of Hamilton Square, passed away on August 23, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lawrenceville, he has been a lifelong area resident. George was retired from Mercer County Community College. He was an avid gardener. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his beloved dog, Flower.
Son of the late Peter and Eleanor (Busch) Warner, he is also pre-deceased by his 9 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Alice M. (Brady) Warner, of Hamilton Square, his children Wendy Krasnansky and her husband Marty of Hamilton, George R. Warner, Jr. of Hamilton Square, and Shelly May and her husband Jason of Yardville, his grandchildren Krystyn Krasnansky, Jessica Marshall (Herbert), Rachel Shroff (Maneck), Melissa May, and Amanda May, great-grandchildren Elizabeth, James, and Daniel Marshall, and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 11:00am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling hours will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Colonial Memorial Park Cemetery.
