Obituary of Margaret P. Caravetta

Margaret P. Caravetta, 97, of the White Horse section of Hamilton, passed away on June 27, 2022. Born in Trenton, she has been a lifelong area resident. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Raphael's Parish. Margaret attended Maple Shade Elementary School and Hamilton High School. She was employed as a legal secretary. Margaret was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook. Daughter of the late Nunziato and Elisabetta (Selvaggi) Caravetta, and sister of the late Anna McDonald, Louise Hayduk, Antoinette Chapman, Josephine Caravetta, and Mary Hellyer, she is survived by her nieces and nephews Mary Elizabeth McLaughlin, Thomas Hellyer, Susan Wilk, Harry Chapman, Gary McDonald, David McDonald, Daniel McDonald, Patricia Tuccillo, JoAnn Hayduk-Kramer, and many great nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10:30am at St. Raphael's Church 3500 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery 1200 Cedar Lane Hamilton, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or the Make-A-Wish Foundation (www.wish.org).
