Wilhelm "Willy" Kraemer, 88, of Robbinsville, passed away on June 27, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Westerode, Germany, he has been an area resident since 1959. Willy is retired from IBEW Local 269. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. He was an Honorary Member of the German American Society, and actively served many years as an officer. An avid sailor, he loved to travel, and spend time with his grandchildren. Son of the late Johann and Theresia (Beckmann) Kraemer, and brother of the late Maria Jensen, Beta Clipp, and Hubert Kraemer, he is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Erika M. (Buchwald) Kraemer of Robbinsville, his daughter Heidi Ross and her husband Jason of Greensburg, PA, his grandchildren Nicholas Ross and Katelyn Ross of Greensburg, PA, his brother Rudolf Heck of Usingen, Germany, his brother-in-law Fred Buchwald and his wife Inge of Smyrna, DE, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Germany. The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 9:30am at St. Mark Lutheran Church 350 Whitehorse Ave. Hamilton, NJ 08610. Pastor Ian Hill will officiate. Calling hours for relatives and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610. Facial coverings and social distancing must be adhered to during the visitation and service. Interment will take place in the Princeton Memorial Park Cemetery 403 Gordon Rd., Robbinsville, NJ 08691. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to either the Parkinson's Foundation (www.parkinson.org), or to the German American Society 215 Uncle Pete's Rd. Trenton, NJ 08691.
