Franz V. Knott 89 of Hamilton passed away May 6, 2021. Mr. Knott was born in Trenton, was a graduate of Trenton Central High School, Rider Business School and American Academy of Funeral Service in NYC. A United States Navy veteran having served in the Korean War. He is a retired funeral director from his family business. He enjoyed hunting and most of all fishing and was a member of many surf fishing clubs. He was also a member of the German American Society, the Donauschwaben Club both of Yardville. Gothic Fraternal Lodge 270 F & AM. Crescent Temple and the Tall Cedars. Was currently the oldest member of the White Horse Volunteer Fire Company where he was a life member. A member of the NJ Exempt Fire Assn. Son of the late Victor L. & M. Adeline Wagner Knott. Husband of the late Anna Knott. Surviving are 2 sons, Robert Knott and Paul Knott. Granddaughter Isabelle Knott. Step daughter Renata Severin (Ernest). Step son Uwe Tittl. and several step grandchildren. Brother Russell Knott, 2 nephews and several cousins. Funeral services were private for the family. Interment with Naval Honors was in the Greenwood Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at knottscolonialfuneralhome.com
