Obituary of Marie E. Michaud

Marie E. Michaud, 76, of Hamilton, passed away on April 17, 2021. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she has been an area resident since 1975. Marie retired from the State of New Jersey. Marie was the First Lady of the Holy Trinity Baptist Church on Johnston Avenue in Hamilton. She was also a Deaconess, the head of the Fundraising Committee, and she taught Baptism class. Daughter of the late Samson and SaintFanine (Desane) Lirismond, and sister-in-law of the late Ernest Zuema, she is survived by her husband of 45 years Rev. Jean Fils Michaud, Sr. of Hamilton, two sons and daughters-in-law Benson J.F. Michaud and his wife Melanie of East Windsor, and Rev. Scharkner J.F. Michaud and his wife Juna of Hamilton, five grandchildren Nathan, Ryan, Allysha, Brielle, and Callie, her sister Marie Rose Zuema of Columbus, nieces and nephews Albert, Alberta, and Shaina, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins in Paris, France. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Holy Trinity Baptist Church 162 S. Johnston Ave., Hamilton. The funeral will begin on Saturday, May 1, at 9:00am at the church. Entombment will take place at the mausoleum at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
