Obituary of Dorothy J. Rojek

Dorothy J. Rojek, 93, of Ewing, passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2021 (just nine days shy of her 94th birthday), surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born and raised in Trenton in 1927. She has been a resdient of Ewing Twp. for most of her life. Dorothy attended Trenton High School. She was an active parishoner of St. Hedwig's Roman Catholic Church, and she was a member of their Rosarian Society. Dorothy was also a member of the T-PADS, and was a former Cub Scout Den Mother. She enjoyed trips to the Jersey Shore, going to flea markets, baseball and football games, gardening, and old Western TV shows. Dorothy had unconditional love for her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she was always interested in their achievements and endeavors. Daughter of the late Daniel and Viola (Zielonka) Wiegonovich, sister of the late Irene Andrews, and Leon Wagner, wife of the late John C. Rojek, and mother of the late Janice Rogers, Karen "Karenia" Rojek (Nadraga), and Laurie Rojek, she is survived by her son Ken and his wife Lydia Rojek of Mercerville, grandchildren Jason Rogers, Erika Rojek, and Philip Rojek, great grandchildren London and Declan Rogers, and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Hedwig's Roman Catholic Church 872 Brunswick Ave., Trenton, NJ 08638. Interment will take place in St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Hamilton.
