Cornelius A. "Connie" Pfaff 80 of Cream Ridge, NJ passed away peacefully December 27, 2020. Connie was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, and a former member of Bethel Lutheran Church where he served on church council. Connie was a graduate of Hamilton High School West, Class of 1958. He was a member of the New Egypt ELKS. He volunteered for many years with Mobile Meals of Hamilton, the HTRBA, and was a ROBIN at McGalliard Elementary School in Hamilton. Connie held numerous jobs. He started out in high school working part time at Howard Johnson's. After graduation he was employed by Hamilton Jewelers, in their Sales Dept. He later worked for Decker's Dairy as a milkman. Shortly afterward he became part owner of an Aljons Hoagie Shop in Burlington for 14 years. After selling this business, he was employed at Princeton Armored Service. He retired from Educational Testing Service in 2005. His hobbies included Civil War reenacting, traveling with his close group of friends, enjoying the Wildwood beaches and camping at Holly Shores, and most recently, he took up playing the ukelele and was part of the Hamilton YMCA Group. He was known for his contagious smile and making everyone feel as if they were part of the family. Connie will always be remembered as the most caring person, always giving you his time and attention and enjoying being with others. Connie's passing leaves a void in our hearts but our memories of him will carry us on forever. "Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway" John Wayne. Son of the late Cornelius A. Pfaff Sr. and Dorothy (nee Shaw) Pfaff Virgil and step son of the late Daniel J. Virgil II. Brother of the late Robert Pfaff. Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years Virginia A. Copper Pfaff. Two sons and daughters in law, Gary J. and Sue Pfaff of Hamilton. Greg J. and Renee Pfaff of Hamilton. Granddaughters Lauren E. Pfaff and Abigail M. Pfaff. Great granddaughter Kamryn P. Hunt. his brother Daniel J. Virgil III and his wife Diane. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Private funeral service for the immediate family will be held at 10am on Monday, January 4th.
