Peter H. DeLucia, 68, of Hamilton, passed away on December 16, 2020. Born in Trenton, he has been a lifelong area resident. Pete was employed by the State of NJ for 35 years. He was an active member of the Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085. He was the past Exalted Ruler, and the current South West District Vice President. Pete devoted much of his time to the Elks. He was a shining example of brotherly love, and was a true friend, mentor, and lodge leader. Pete was an avid New York Yankees fan, and he also loved going out to dinner with his wife. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Son of the late Sebastian and Theresa (Runyon) DeLucia, and son-in-law of the late Dolores Wolverton, he is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Linda (Wolverton) DeLucia of Hamilton, his son Peter M. and Jennifer DeLucia of Hamilton, and his daughter Lisa DeLucia of Hamilton, his grandchildren Sean Hart, Kyle and Mya DeLucia, Alyssa Smith, Katelyn Bonatz, and Olivia Tobias, his brothers David and his wife Darlene DeLucia of Burlington, Sebastian and his wife Genia DeLucia of Boston, MA, half-brother Samuel and his wife Stephanie of California, sister-in-law Vicki Lupperger, father-in-law Patrick H. Sr. and his wife Sandra Wolverton, sister-in-law Rose Foster and her husband and Pete's best friend Fred Foster, brothers-in-law Ronald Sr. and Kathleen Wolverton, and Patrick Wolverton, Jr. He is also survived by his longtime childhood friend Chuck Betros and his wife Patricia, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his Elks brothers and sisters. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad St., Hamilton. The Elks service will begin at 5:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 10:00am at St. Raphael's Church 3500 South Broad St., Hamilton. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery Cedar Lane, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pete's name can be made the Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085 at 11 Amboy rd. Bordentown, NJ 08505. Condolences can be left at knottscolonialfuneralhome.com. Masks will be required to attend the visitation, funeral mass, and interment. We ask that you avoid gathering. We welcome you to come and pay your respects, and kindly filter through without standing around. Please understand that everyone's safety is our first priority. Our family is Covid free at this time.
