Obituary of Joseph C. Kramer

Joseph C. Kramer, 77, of Hamilton, passed away on October 7, 2020, at home surrounded by his loving family.

 

Born in Trenton, he has been a lifelong area resident. Joseph was a parishioner of St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish, where he was a Lector. Graduated cum laude with a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from St. May's Seminary and University. He acquired an M.S. in Education in Pastoral Counseling from Iona. He retired from the State of New Jersey in the Ann Klein Forensic Center as an Employee Relations Officer. He enjoyed oil painting, golfing, creating hand carved chess sets, the New York Yankees, The Honeymooners, Columbo, laughing at his own jokes, and most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

 

Son of the late Joseph and Mary Kramer, he is survived by his loving wife Rosemarie (Garzillo) Kramer, his children, Joshua Kramer and his wife Jun, Jeremiah Kramer and his wife Yasmin Baig, and Maribeth Epstein and her husband Brian, grandchildren Gerard, Alexander, Colby, Adam, and Ella, his siblings Kathleen Harris, Richard Kramer (Peggy), and Timothy Kramer (Linda), brothers-in-law Marcello Garzillo (Gracie), Anthony Garzillo (Margie), John Gentry (Meryl), and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

 

 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am Saturday, October 17, 2020, via Zoom.  To follow along with the mass please click the link here (https://tiny.cc/josephckramer) In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 (stjude.org). Arrangements are under the care of Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610.
