Obituary of Doris A. Radice

Doris A. Radice, 88, of Hamilton, passed away October 3, 2020. Born in Trenton, she was an area resident her entire life. Doris was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Class of 1950, and NJ State Teacher's College, now TCNJ, Class of 1954. A former parishioner and graduate of St Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church and School she married her husband James there in 1955. Doris had a passion for teaching and taught at Cathedral High School from 1954-1972 and at St. Anthony (McCorristin) High School from 1972-1997. She retired with over 40 years of dedicated service from the Diocese of Trenton. Doris was a member of the St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish and their Rosary Altar Society. She cherished her faith, family, and friends. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed reading, shopping, and traveling. She loved vacationing in Wildwood in the summer with her family and spending time with her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Religious celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, family picnics, and gatherings were special occasions in her life. She enjoyed dancing, sports, and watching her children and grandchildren perform and play. The daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Gresko) Mayernik, wife of the late James A. Radice, and sister of the late Francis Mayernik and his wife, Joyce. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Mary Christina and Achille Costantini, of Hamilton, sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Suzi Radice, of Yardville, and Mark J. and Carlise Radice, of Yardville, her grandchildren Lauren Costantini, Megan and Shawn Costantini-Morris, Heather and Jeff Breza, Bobby Radice and fiancée Angelina Cifelli, Nikki Radice, Amanda Radice, Mark Radice Jr., and Zachary Radice, her great-grandchildren Lucy Day Costantini-Morris and Connor Francis Costantini-Morris along with many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street, Hamilton. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 10:00am at St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home Monday morning. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Hamilton.
