Roscoe R. (Ray) Shaddow, 86 of Hamilton, passed away July 2, 2020 at home. Mr. Shaddow was born in Trenton and has been a lifelong area resident. A graduate of Trenton Central High School, Trenton Junior College and Temple University in Philadelphia, he held a BA in Fine Art - Art Education. He retired from teaching Elementary Art at Hopewell Valley Regional Schools in 1990. An avid fisherman and boater, he enjoyed many great times at LBI and Cape May and, more recently, at Newport, NJ on the Nantuxent Creek and the Delaware Bay. Ray sometimes dabbled in oil painting and displayed his years of work throughout his home. He enjoyed good times with family and friends and took daily walks with his favorite canine companion, Cleo. He was the son of the late Roscoe Raymond and Hope (Keller) Shaddow, the brother of the late Marilyn Flowers and her husband James, the brother in-law of the late Jack Malkin, the late Rose Marie Malkin and the late Constance Shaddow. He is survived by his loving wife, of 66 years, Patricia (Malkin) Shaddow and his daughter Jean Shaddow of Trenton. He is also survived by his brother Blaine Shaddow of Florida, his brother in-law Richard Malkin of Hamilton and sister in-law Mary Malkin of Hamilton. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Funeral services will be private for the family and entombment will be in Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in honor of Roscoe R.
