? George E. Balog Jr. TRENTON- George E. Balog Jr., 68, of Home Avenue died at home in November. George was born February 8, 1951 in Trenton to George Edward Balog, Sr. and Mary Sokirka Balog. George attended Mercer County Community College and Southeastern Massachusetts University before graduating in 1974 as a marine biologist. He worked at Sovereign Consulting in Robbinsville doing biological assessment and ecological evaluation of fresh water fish and then retired, to later work at Home Depot in Princeton as a sales associate in multiple departments. He loved boating and fishing and spent his leisure time near Promised Land State Park in the Pennsylvania Poconos at his second home. George will be remembered for his kind heart and quirky personality. George is survived by his niece, Chelsea L. Whitmore, of Missoula, Montana and nephew, Jason M. Whitmore, of Camano Island, Washington. Brother to Barbara Balog Whitmore deceased in 2009. Funeral services were held graveside at Seese Hill Cemetery, Canadensis, PA., where George was buried next to his parents, George, Sr. and Mary Balog.
