Obituary of Judith G. Delpopolo

Please share a memory of Judith to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Judith Gail Delpopolo, age 81 of Yardville, NJ, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at RWJ Hamilton Hospital. Born in Trenton, NJ, Judith graduated from Trenton High School. She enjoyed an early career with the Trenton Times and a later career as a Stewardess with Allegheny Airlines which allowed her to travel internationally for many years. Judy is predeceased by her mother, Florence (Sutterlin) Marsh, and her father, Clarence Robert (Bob) Marsh, who owned Marsh's Hobby Shop on South Broad Street. She is survived by her husband Samuel Delpopolo, who she met in 1965 and was married to for 53 years, daughter Deborah Delpopolo, Cousin Paul Sutterlin, his wife Anita and their children and grandchildren, and her two grand-dogs, Denny and Winny. Her first grand-dog, Muffin, who has passed, helped her get over a long-time fear of dogs and turned her into a dog lover. She is also survived by many, many close friends whom she adored. Judy always wanted to be a mother and loved being a stay home mom to her daughter, Debby. She was always class mom or helper as her daughter grew up. She signed Debby up for dance classes at age two with Miss Terry's Dance School. For the last 22 years she loved helping at All That Jazz Dance Academy, her daughter Debby's dance studio and especially loved watching the shows. She was talented in the art of crochet and made blankets and scarves for friends and family. She and her husband Sam were members of the USS Chickasaw Reunion Association and loved traveling to events all over the country. Judy loved dining out and visited the Jersey Shore every summer. She loved laughter and talking to people and will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew her. A viewing for friends and family will take place Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 11:00am until 1:00pm with a prayer service at 1:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St, Trenton, NJ 08610.
