Obituary of Catherine E. Mazzeo

Catherine E. Mazzeo 90 of Hamilton passed away November 30, 2019. Catherine was born in Cranford, NJ and lived in Pittston, PA for many years and has been a resident of Hamilton most of her life. She formerly worked in the Cigar Factory and the Dress Factory and is retired from General Motors. A parishioner of St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish. Daughter of the late Paul and Viola McNorris. Wife of the late John S. Mazzeo, her husband of 67 years. Sister of the late Paul McNorris. Surviving are her daughter and son in law Dionicia and David Sapp of Ewing. 2 Sons and daughters in law Edward and Dee Mazzeo of Columbus, NJ and John and Bernice Mazzeo of Hamilton. Her grandchildren Rebecca Sapp, Amy and Frank Cerovsky, Andrew and Lucia Fischer and Dawn and Frank Cybulski. Her great grandchildren Amelia Cerovsky, Frankie Cerovsky, Lauren Fischer, Ryan Fischer, Michael Fischer, Parker Howey and Cassidy Howey. A sister and brother in law Patricia and Charles Grabosky of Inkerman, PA. Brother in law Frank Mazzeo of Old Forge, PA. Sister in law Victoria Vasil of Hamilton and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 8:30am Saturday from Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30am at St. Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad St. Hamilton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Friday 6:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home.
