Robert J. Dixon 51 of Hamilton passed away September 28, 2019. Mr. Dixon was born in Trenton, resided in Bordentown and was a resident of Whitehorse most of his life. He has been employed by the County of Mercer for the past 27 years in Central Maintenance. A graduate of Hamilton High School West, Class of 1987. A member of the Bordentown ELKS and served on the Float Committee. A fan of music, kayaking and classic cars, Robert was devoted to his loving family. Son of the late Kenneth Dixon. Surviving are his mother and her husband, Sharon Nutt Sharpe and James Sharpe. Son and daughter in law Christopher J. and Sarah Dixon of Burlington Township. Daughter and Fiance' Jessica R. Dixon and Brandon Reimer of Mercerville. Grandson Cole J. Dixon, and 2 more expected grandchildren. 2 brothers and sisters in law, Michael and Tara Dixon of Manasquan. Richard and Karin Dixon of Hamilton. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be Friday 9:00am from Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. Christian services will be at 10:00am Father Mathew Tucker will officiate. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Thursday 5:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home.
