Obituary of Bertha R. Roberts

Bertha "Bert" R. Roberts (Weigert), 74, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2016 at her home in Oaks of Bensalem. Beloved Wife of the late Kenneth Roberts, dearest Mother of Kim Walter (married to Bob Walter) & Kenneth Roberts, and loved Grandmother of Sofi, Nickolas, & Emma. Predeceased by her parents, Michael Weigert & Berta Gauch, brother, Frederick Weigert, and sister, Elizabeth (Lilly) Mittermaier. Bert Grew up in Philadelphia and settled down in Cinnaminson NJ to enjoy raising her children and devoting herself to being there for everyone! Bert returned to work as a school bus driver while her children were in school and retired as the Director of Transportation for Cinnaminson Township. She was a lifetime member of the G.T.V. Almrausch, a Bavarian Schuhplattler Group, and presented with the honor of Ehren Vortaenzerin. This group was founded in 1925 and Bert's parents were among the 6 founding members. Bert and Kenny were well known throughout the tri-state area for their lively performance of the Figurentanz.
