Evelyn M. Easley 96 of Hamilton passed away March 2, 2019. Mrs. Easley was born in Hardy, West Virginia and has been an area resident most of her life. A member of the Pearson Memorial United Methodist Church and active in many church groups. She is retired from Atlantic Mills and Woolworth's. She enjoyed camping and visiting her family in West Virginia, Virginia and California. She was a wonderful mother, and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Easley was a direct descendant of Peregrin White, the 1st baby born on the Mayflower and the 1st baby registered in America. Peregrin's mother along with 3 other women began the 1st Thanksgiving in America in 1621. Daughter of the late Roscoe C. and Lula White. Wife of the late Bernard M. Easley. Surviving are her children, Connie S. & Robert Papp of Hamilton. Bernard J. & Philomena Easley of Fairless Hills, PA. Linda J. & Charles P. Smith of Fallsington, PA. Kenneth D. & Maryann Easley of Morrisville, PA. Her grandchildren, David R. & Katie Papp, Jennifer L. Ritter, Andrea M. & Tim Perkins, Stephen H. & Dori Easley, Jason P. Smith. 12 Great grandchildren. Sisters in law, Paula White of Boca Raton, FL and Asta White of Buena Park, CA. Many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. Rev. Jessica Stenstrom will officiate. Interment will be in BGWCD Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. Relatives and friends may call Friday 9:00 - 11:00am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Blvd. Philadelphia, PA 19104 www.chop.edu
