Obituary of David Harry Eichman

David H. Eichman, 90, of Hamilton, passed away on August 26, 2018, at Compassionate Care Hospice at RWJUH in Hamilton. Born in Easton, PA, Mr. Eichman graduated from Easton High School, Class of 1946. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1948. He graduated from Rider College in 1952. Mr. Eichman began his 57 years in banking at the Trenton Trust Co. as an Assistant Treasurer. He was a member of the Hamilton Twp. Senior Center, and enjoyed singing with the Hamiltonians and also playing Bocce. He was also a life member of the Bordentown Elks. He loved singing, ballroom dancing, and traveling. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Lou (Mason) Eichman, his son David M. Eichman and his husband Richard Mehlman of Los Angeles, CA, daughters Elaine LeCrone and her husband Carl of Mercerville, and Elyse Diamond of Yardville, 5 grandchildren, Kevin M. Booz and his wife Katherine, Sydney Booz, Kelly Diamond, Katie Diamond, Kyle LeCrone, and a great-granddaughter Winter Booz, two sisters, Belva Fuhr and Elizabeth Reilly of Easton, PA, two sisters-in-law, Patricia Mason of Florence, NJ, and Kathryn Mason. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, August 30, from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm. A celebration of Mr. Eichman's life will begin at 8:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad St., Hamilton. Elks Services will begin at 7:00pm. Cremation Services will be private for the family. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 or to the Sisters of Mercy 1645 US Highway 22 West, Watchung, NJ 07069.
