Lucy M. DiMattia, 89, of Hamilton, passed away on August 25, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, Lucy was an area resident all her life. Lucy was employed by McGraw-Hill, and was a member of St. Raphael's Holy Angels Parish. Lucy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, and arts & crafts. She was loved by everyone who ever met her. Daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Marfino) Martucci, wife of the late Joseph L. DiMattia, mother of the late Rose Marie Pica, grandmother of the late Ralph Pica, and Joey DiMattia, and sister of the late Vito, Danny, Fred, Michael, Carmen, and John DiMattia, Nancy Cacioppio, Rose Northey, and Ellen Gigunito, she is survived by her children Mary Ann and Luigi Rienzi, Nancy and Samuel Pica, Andrea and Nicholas Angelico, Joseph DiMattia, and a daughter-in-law Lisa Wilson Conley, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, her sister Clara Cowell, sister-in-law Anna Martucci, and a brother-in-law Robert and Dorothy DiMattia, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Friday August 31 at St. Raphael's Catholic Church 3500 South Broad St. Hamilton. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 8:30am-10:30am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street, Hamilton. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cedar Lane, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org)
