William T. Stephens 92 of Burlington Township passed away July 27, 2018 Mr. Stephens was born in Morgan City, LA. was raised in Savannah, GA, and has been an area resident most of his life. A Veteran of WWII and Korea, he served in the US Army from 1944 until 1964 attaining the rank of Sergeant First Class. He retired from Utica Mutual Insurance Company. He enjoyed Golf, Bingo, the Phillies and the Eagles, but most of all his family. Son of the late, McKinley J. & Pearl Edgerly Stephens. Brother of the late, McKinley Stephens and Mary Shearouse. Husband of the late, Doris A. Ayres Stephens and June Haney Stephens. Surviving are his daughter and son in law, Linda S. & Thomas J. Weiss of Allentown, NJ His son, David L. Stephens of Hamilton. Grandchildren, Emily Dodd and husband Matt, and Melanie Weiss. Great grandchildren, Harry and Simon Dodd. Stepson, Tony Zotta and wife LeAnn of Williamsburg, VA. Brother, Byron A. Stephens of Savannah, GA and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services and interment with military honors will be private for the family at BGWCD Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org
