I was fortunate enough to spend time with Baba this summer, just as so many summers of my childhood were spent. I will always remember the stories she told, the knowledge she shared, and the bond that we had. I cherish the memories we all made together in New York, from learning to make pirogies with her, having watermelon on the front porch and playing stoop ball, drawing on Didi’s drafting table, and spending our days in the sunshine in their garden. Everyone shares so many fond memories with her and we will miss her dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone.
