Mathew Huy 92 of Hamilton passed away peacefully April 10, 2017.
Mr. Huy was born in Hatzfeld, Romania and has been an area resident most of his life.
He is retired from Circle F Industries.
He was a life member and former secretary for 25 years at the German American Society.
He was an excellent carpenter and machinist, he played soccer in his youth and enjoyed gardening.
Son of the late Peter and Barbara Huy
Husband of the late Philipine Schmidt Huy
Surviving are his daughter, Phyllis Persicketti of Hamilton Square.
Son and daughter in law, Gerhart and Barbara Huy of Hamilton Square.
Grandchildren, Stephanie and John Gephart, Kristen and Andrew Jones, Lauren Huy and Steven Huy.
Great granddaughter, Mia Gephart
His loving companion of 25 years Alice Hoffman and her loving and devoted family.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00am at Holy Angels Church, 1733 South Broad St. Hamilton
Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday (Tonight) 5:30 - 8:00pm and Wednesday 9:00 - 10:30am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton.
