Obituary of Joseph Schoen

Joseph Schoen 82 of Hamilton passed away peacefully February 16, 2017 Mr. Schoen was born in Austria-Hungary and has been an area resident since 1951. He was a Sargent in the United States Army The retired owner of Garden State Tire and he formerly owned Schoen's Tree Farm in Mansfield Township. Mr. Schoen was a longtime Soccer coach for the GAK, he was inducted into the Mercer County Soccer Hall of Fame. A life member of the German American Society. He was a very dedicated Grandfather. Son of the late Michael and Rosina Schen Brother of the late Michael Schen Surviving are his wife of 59 years Elizabeth Kuppek Schoen his 4 sons, Robert M. Schoen, Joseph J. & Dawn Schoen, Richard A. & Nicole Schoen, Edmund & Nancy Schoen. 8 Grandchildren Erik, Adam, Katrina, Jenna, Patrick, Izabelle, Layla and Drew. Aunt Rosina Schneider, Sister in law Katherine Schen, his close friend Peter Spildener, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be 8:30am Wednesday from Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street, Hamilton Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Sq.
