Maylene Martus, from Cherry Hill NJ, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2016. She was 81 years old. She is survived by her seven children Brian Cherry Hill, Tim (Kerri) Colorado, Dan (Catherine) Chicago, Adria (Rob Tampellini) Hamilton, NJ, Sheila Colorado, Gretchen (Erol Uray) Medford Lakes, and Carolyn (John Hyde) Southern California. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren. She graduated from Boston City Hospital School of Nursing in 1956. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Glassboro State College in 1986. She worked as a nurse for the City of Camden schools and retired in 2003. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, 4 Sawmill Rd, Medford, NJ 08055. A funeral mass will be celebrated in her honor at 12:00 pm on Friday January 13, 2017 at Holy Eucharist Church 344 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, NJ.
