Obituary of Frank L. Collura, Jr.

Frank L. Collura Jr., 85, passed away peacefully at RWJ-Hamilton on February 24, 2024. Frank was born in Rockville Center, Long Island, NY, on August 25, 1938 to the late Frank and Florence Collura. He resided in Bordentown before moving to Hamilton. He is predeceased by his infant son, Anthony Dominic Collura. He is survived by his wife, Annette Lupinetti Collura, his children, Terri Riccitiello, Susan and Craig St. George, and Joseph and Maressa Collura; His grandchildren, David (Crystal), Brittany (Erik), Michael (Katie), Chelsea (Gabriel), and Anthony; His great-grandchildren, Leah, Harleigh; Ariana, Raelyn, Jace, Evan; Logan, Thomas; and Nova, respectively. He is also survived by his siblings Robert and Mary Colabella, James and Fran Collura, Dorothy and the late Bill Collura, and many nieces and nephews. Frank was a truck driver for Teamsters Local 701 and retired from the State of New Jersey. He loved driving, fishing, golfing and delivering lollipops to his great-grandchildren. He was often found at the beach, on the golf course, or in the kitchen cooking and baking his favorite sticky buns and delicious cheesecake. He was a member of the New Jersey Beach Buggy Association, a former member of the Knights of Columbus, and a frequent visitor of Princeton Country Club, Mercer Oaks and Mountainview golf course. Visitation will begin 11:00am on Thursday, February 29, 2024, with services at 12:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. Interment will be in St Mary's Cemetery, Bordentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Frank's memory to the New Jersey Beach Buggy Association.
