Joe was born on November 7, 1959. He grew up in the Chambersburg section of Trenton, NJ. Joe started high school at St. Anthony's where he met his wife of 46 years, Patricia. He is a graduate of Notre Dame High school class of 1977.
For over five decades, he worked as a master mason and proud business owner, devoting his life to a trade he truly loved. He approached every project with dedication, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to quality. One of his greatest joys was passing on his knowledge to others, taking pride in teaching the craft and helping those around him develop both their skills and confidence. His work can be seen in the structures he built, but his greatest legacy lives on in the people he mentored and inspired.
When he was not working he could often be found doing what he loved most hunting and fishing. He treasured every opportunity to spend time in the woods or on the water with his sons and grandchildren. His love of the outdoors was not only a passion but also a gift he passed on to those who were fortunate to share those experiences with him.
Joe's faith was another cornerstone of his life. A devoted member of St. Vincent de Paul parish, he faithfully served as an Eucharistic minister finding great fulfillment in serving his church community with humility, compassion and devotion.
He created a legacy of hard work, traditions and memories with his family and friends. He was a man willing to help others and remembered by anyone who met him. Many of his children's friends he became a trusted mentor and father figure, welcoming them with kindness and treating them as his own. He will be deeply missed.
