Clare E. Nicol 91 passed away June 23, 2026.

Clare attended St. Anthony Elementary School, Kuser School and was a graduate of Hamilton High School class of 1953.

She was formerly employed at New Jersey Bell and retired as the assistant to the surgeon at Mercerville Oral Surgery.

She was also an Aid at Southern Ocean County Hospital and later at RWJ University at Hamilton.

Daughter of the late Englebert and Anna (Leonard) Ammann.

Wife of the late David J. Nicol.

Mother of the late Timothy M. Nicol.

Also sister of the late Maria Gerasimowicz, Theresa Everett, Rita Wright, Englebert Ammann, Eleanor Johnson, Dolores Dilks and John Ammann.

Surviving are her son and daughter in law David A. and Anna Nicol.

Daughter and son in law Carol A. and Michael Muka.

Her grandchildren Dennis Muka, Trisha Muka, Lindsay Nicol, Jessica Nicol and Timothy Nicol.

Many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Friday 9:30 to 11:00am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton.

Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery.
