With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria "Mery" Colon-Camacho (Trenton, New Jersey), who passed peacefully on September 13, 2025, at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Francisco Colon and Virginia Camacho both from Maunabo, Puerto Rico; and her siblings, Eusebia Jimenez, Petra Colon, Felix Colon, and Angel Luis Colon.
She is survived by her son Wilfredo Benitez and his wife Carmen; her grandchildren Alicia Ortiz and Wilfredo Benitez, Jr. and his wife Valentina; and great-grandchildren Alayna, Raiden, Emilio and Nicolai; and siblings Jose "Vicente" Colon and Nilda Ortiz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Services are private for the family.
