Please share a memory of Kristine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kristine Lillian Andrejco, affectionately known to those closest to her as "Kris," passed away peacefully in Sewell, New Jersey on August 11, 2025, at the age of 65. Kris was born on October 23, 1959, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and grew up in Clementon, NJ.
Kris was a woman of extraordinary love. Her compassion and warmth extended to all Who had the privilege of knowing her. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel like family, a trait that was deeply admired and will be sorely missed. She was a Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Wife, Mom, Grammy, and GiGi, and she embraced each of these roles with an unwavering commitment and devotion.
Her considerable accomplishments in life were not measured in accolades but in the love, she shared and the lives she touched. She was a source of strength and guidance, a beacon of love, and a haven for her family and friends. One of her passions was crocheting handmade items for those in need. At her local church, she founded a program to make and donate chemo hats, small afghans, preemie hats, and hats and scarves for the homeless. After her first granddaughter was born, Kris started donating crochet octopuses to the infants on the cardiac floor at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Kris's legacy is not one of material success but of a life well-lived, filled with love, kindness, and generosity.
Kristine battled breast and endometrial cancer for most of her life. She displayed immense strength through every diagnosis and treatment, becoming a beacon of light and strength for her family and friends. She fought with courage and dignity until her body could fight no more.
Kristine was preceded in death by her parents Jack & Anne Schweiker; her siblings Jack R. Schweiker, Valeria A. Schweiker, and Bryon E. Schweiker; her loving husband Roger w. Andrejco; and her adoring granddaughter Eleanour K. Dillon.
Kris leaves behind a family who loves her dearly and will miss her profoundly: her children Katrina & Matthew Dillon, her granddaughter Maddison Dillon, her mother-in-law Carol Andrejco, her sisters-in-law, her brother-in-law, her nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, plus a multitude of found family she accumulated over her lifetime.
Details regarding a memorial to celebrate Kris's life Will be announced in the coming weeks. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support they have received during this difficult time.
May we all strive to honor Kris's memory by living our lives with the same warmth, kindness, and love that she so selflessly shared with us. May her soul finally be at rest, and may her legacy continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
